FAQ
Everything about ordering custom bowling hats — minimums, artwork, production, pricing, and care. Don’t see your question? Text George at (929) 605-4397.
What’s the minimum order?
Our standard minimum is 24 caps per style for embroidery. Smaller keepsake runs (a handful of award caps, for example) can be quoted case by case.
Is there a maximum order size?
No. We regularly handle runs into the thousands for alley pro-shop programs, associations, and large tournaments.
Can I order a sample before a bulk run?
Yes. We provide a free photo-real digital mockup with every quote, and a physical pre-production sample can be arranged for larger orders — ask and we’ll explain the terms.
Can I mix cap styles in one order?
Yes. Combine structured caps, dad hats, beanies, and more in one order; the combined quantity counts toward your volume pricing.
Can I reorder later and match my last batch?
Yes. We keep your artwork, thread colors, and cap specs on file, so a mid-season add-on or next year’s order matches the originals.
Do you charge for mockups?
No. Mockups are free with unlimited revisions until you approve. You only pay once the design is locked and production is ready to start.
What artwork files do you need?
Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF) are ideal for embroidery. Don’t have one? Send a PNG, JPG, or even a photo and our designers will recreate it as stitch-ready art — free.
I don’t have a logo — can you help?
Yes. Our designers can build a team or league mark from a reference, a rough sketch, or just your team name and colors.
Can you match my team’s exact colors?
Yes. We match thread colors to your brand or team palette, including Pantone references where you have them.
Can you individually personalize each cap?
Yes. Send a spreadsheet of bowler names and we can add individual names alongside the team mark — common for league rosters and travel teams.
How many revisions do I get?
Unlimited, and always free, until you approve. We’d rather get it right than rush it onto a cap.
Embroidery or printing — which should I choose?
Embroidery looks premium and lasts longest, ideal for logos and lettering. Screen-print or patches are better for large, full-color, or photographic art. We’ll recommend the right method for your design.
How long does production take?
About two weeks from approved mockup for standard orders. Larger or multi-style orders may take a little longer; we confirm timing in your quote.
Do you offer rush production?
Yes. Rush is available for firm deadlines like a season opener or tournament date — tell us the date and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
Where do you ship?
We ship nationwide across the US. International shipping can be arranged on request. See our Shipping Policy for details.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is quoted with your order based on quantity and destination. We’ll include it in your written quote so there are no surprises.
Can you ship to multiple addresses?
Yes. Provide a distribution list with your order and we can split the shipment — useful for multi-location clubs and corporate teams.
What if my order arrives damaged or wrong?
We make it right. If caps arrive defective or don’t match your approved mockup, we remake or replace the affected items. See our Return Policy.
How much do custom bowling hats cost?
Pricing is by quote and depends on quantity, cap style, and decoration. Each product page shows a typical range (for example, structured caps from $9–$18 each at minimum); your real number comes from a quote.
Why don’t you list exact prices?
Price depends on quantity, cap style, stitch count, and colors. A quote is the only way to give you an accurate number rather than a misleading one.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards, and ACH or purchase orders for established leagues, alleys, and companies. We confirm options in your quote.
Do you offer a lowest-price guarantee?
Yes. If you have a written quote for a comparable custom cap at a lower price, send it over and we’ll match or beat it.
What colors and styles are available?
Caps come in black, navy, charcoal, white, red, royal blue, forest green, vintage khaki, heather grey, two-tone, and more, across structured caps, dad hats, truckers, snapbacks, beanies, and bucket hats.
Is the embroidery really durable?
Yes. Quality embroidery won’t peel or crack and holds up to regular wear and washing far better than a printed promo cap. We stitch on quality blanks built to last a season and beyond.
How do I care for the caps?
Spot-clean or hand-wash in cold water and air-dry to keep the shape and stitching crisp. Avoid the dishwasher or high-heat dryer. Beanies can be gently machine-washed cold and laid flat to dry.
